Red Ribbon Week Dress Up Days

Red Ribbon Week Dress Up Days

One School, One Goal
Bully & Drug Free!

Red Ribbon week is recognized nationally at the end of October each year.  Red Ribbon week was created to draw attention to educating youth about the dangers of drugs and alcohol and, more recently, began to include bully prevention.  PELC will be taking extra time to include these topics in our classrooms.  We also hope that you continue these conversations at home.

To help shine a light on these important issues, the PELC Student Council has designated dress-up days to go along with some themes we will be covering at school.

  • Monday, October 28th – Red Day ~ Put a STOP to drugs!  Wear red in honor of Red Ribbon Week.
  • Tuesday, October 29th  – Pajama Day ~ Keep your dreams alive - Don't do drugs!
  •  Wednesday, October 30th  – Mixed Up Clothes Day ~ Don't get mixed up on drugs!  Wear your best combination of mixed up clothes.
  • Thursday, October 31st  – Say BOO to Drugs Day ~ Wear your favorite Halloween costume.

*Please remember face paints and masks are not allowed during the dress up days.

Thank You for your support at home!
